A message to my campaign supporters, many volunteers, and the citizens of our great county...
Thank you for friendship and loyalty over the past year, and for your tremendous efforts in helping me with my recent campaign for the office of Sheriff here in El Dorado County. I was honored to be part of the 2010 election process and as a candidate was committed to bringing the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office back to a position of strength and efficiency, fully prepared and committed to its fundamental mission --- protecting and serving the people of El Dorado County. My goals and desires in that regard remain strong, and I am ever committed to my mission of ensuring our citizens are
well-protected and well-served. I pledge to do all that I can to assist our next elected Sheriff in adopting that mission as well.
I offer my sincere congratulations to candidates John D'Agostini and Craig Therkildsen for their success in their primary campaigns, and wish them continued success and best wishes for potential fall campaigns that are fully focused on improving law enforcement services here in our County. Our citizens deserve only the very best we can deliver as a professional law enforcement agency.
I wish to extend my most sincere gratitude to my family and friends, who showed great patience and support over the past year, to those who honored me with their votes, and to those who helped with a long and arduous campaign. I am grateful to have met so many of our wonderful citizens during the campaign, and feel privileged to have had the opportunity to talk about many important issues. I wish our deputy sheriffs and the members of our Sheriff's Department safety and Godspeed as they work to protect us all, and thank them as well for serving our communities so diligently.
